It’s an abusive relationship both ways, but he still loves us.
He has to love us - we provide half of his content. #hottake

Truth don’t make it hot.

A thing. Because. Worthless notoriety.

But isn’t that a screenshot of a front page article?

Your take is even hotter, BroHonda.

Says the kid who got his start at Jalopnik because of Oppo. Oh, boo hoo, sweet cheeks.
![]() 11/27/2016 at 21:06 |

You’re being extremely generous by saying he gets ONLY half his content from Oppo.

Justin T. Westbrook: he who unites all of Oppo together. Not even Miata could do that.

I got my start because I emailed Patrick George articles from my BeyondJamesBond.kinja.com blog, which I sometimes spliced to Oppo.
You can send apologies to justin@jalopnik.com

Wow, that was you? I didn’t even know lol. I liked the Bond stuff. You guys do take quite a few articles from here without credit tho.

It’s not my place to speak for the other editors or authors, or our processes, but I can tell you for a fact we cite every source and tip we get in the relative posts.
What we don’t do is find a story, check Oppo first, and then run it. We’re all interested in the same things, and we’re all bound to be following the same channels. No one on the Jalopnik staff has any reason to take anything from Oppo without proper credit.
Think about it. What do we gain by not crediting you, but crediting the email tips, or other social media tips we get? Beyond a few mean-spirited joking tweets (in reaction to mean-spirited posts), there is no unjustified malice or animosity towards Oppo and its members.
I guarantee you nobody at Jalopnik has ever intentionally sourced a story or post from Oppo and deliberately skipped properly crediting it. Chances are we all follow the same people and companies on Twitter or Facebook or YouTube, or get it in a press release or email, our own RSS feeds, Reddit searches, or whatever other means we use to find things to publish.

I thought JW’s headline was clever when I originally saw it, but I don’t know what’s ifunny and superfamoustime about that mobile screenshot.
Something is missing.

“get your head out of your ass, you’ve been breathing your own fumes for too long.”
“You can send your apologies to fuckoff@asshole.com.”
“You’re a manipulative little fuck, too”
What the fuck, over? Completely unnecessary.
